Here’s 3 project examples to provide a flavour of how I work and how I can help automate various aspects of an organisation
1. Automating sales processes
Business process automation can significantly enhance sales operations by streamlining processes and repetitive tasks, allowing sales teams to focus on high-value activities such as building relationships and closing deals.
By automating processes like data entry, and follow-up communications, automation ensures that teams have accurate and up-to-date information at their fingertips, reducing the chances of human error and increasing efficiency.
My role: I helped a leading organisation in the energy sector to set up a system so that every time a new direct debit became live, a letter was created and sent out, saving administration time and freeing the team up to focus on converting new leads.
2. Customer relationship management
Moreover, automation can integrate with customer relationship management to provide real-time insights and analytics, enabling teams to make data-driven decisions and tailor their approaches to meet customer needs more effectively.
My role: I helped to develop a system to collate contact details for existing customers that hadn’t been captured yet, when they were added to a seperate web app. This meant that there was a higher success rate when communicating with customers, without employees having to regularly cross-reference records to find relevant details, as it was done automatically.
3. Automating lottery success
Automation can revolutionise the process of setting up and running lotteries by enhancing operational efficiency. Automating processes such as ticket validation, prize distribution, and fraud detection reduces the risk of human error, providing a smoother experience for entrants.
Automation can also streamline customer service by automatically addressing any common queries and managing ticket sales and account updates, freeing up staff to handle more complex issues.
My role: To support the delivery of a regular customer lottery in the energy sector, I created an automation that delivered prizes via the winners’ electricity metres and updated them with messages on their in-home displays.
All these examples highlight how automation can drive efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. In commercial sales, it enables sales teams to focus on high-value tasks and make data-driven decisions, leading to increased revenue. For capturing contact details, business process automation streamlines data collection, improving the accuracy of customer information and enabling more effective communication and marketing efforts. In the lottery example, automation ensures operational integrity and enhances the customer experience by speeding up processes and reducing errors.
Overall, these examples demonstrate the transformative impact of automation on improving business processes and outcomes, freeing your team to identify further opportunities for automation.
